John has been a volunteer with LDPDPS since 2006. In his 14 years of service to Lower Duck Pond he has assisted in the rescue of 73 people, extinguished 97 structure fires, saved over $5 million worth of property endangered by fire and assisted in the cessation of the great gas leak of Lower Duck Pond.

John has also taken on the role of an instruct for our fire fighting, EMS, and emergency management courses. He does so as a volunteer, a job usually performed by highly paid professionals. John spends his weekend educating other volunteers an public safety professionals in the various facets of public safety services. We thank John for his service to his community and his devotion to duty!
